Situated in a thousand years of winegrowing renowned zone, Casa Roma joints to international wines production, the protection of local vine, devoting times and resources. Vines like Raboso Piave, Manzoni Bianco represent the excellence of Marca Trevigiana, combined with the rare Marzemina Bianca. Certainly we cannot forget the cultivation of Glera grapes, which in stony soil of Piave River, find the best expression in Prosecco DOC TREVISO production.
Lands of the Piave
In the DOC Piave area, that from the hills of Conegliano, stretches along the plain between Treviso and Venice, always coexist the traditional international vine with the local varieties.
Walking along the”Piave wines road”, it’s possible to see the well known Prosecco, but also the Cabernet, Merlot, Pinot Grigio e Chardonnay vines, that from the beginning of ‘900 founded the ideal soil for growing up.
Our mission is the cultivation, the care and the preservation of local vine like Raboso, the Indigenous of Marca Trevigiana, Manzoni Bianco, Manzoni Moscato and finally Marzemina Bianca, unique, rare and ancient variety.
Even if Carmenère is not a native vine, thanks to an ideal environment in the Piave valley it produces a high quality grapes.
